I was going to make a lighthearted, loosely satirical response to this, but I noticed how upsetting it is to see how many people’s lives could be devastated by their own parents like this - right out there in the open. Not even as  kneejerk reaction, not as a sudden chock to the parents, not as an unexplainably uncomfortable issue to face in a family, but a vindictive response that people are actually planning for the hypothetical event in which their child turns out gay.

If you are the kind of person who is willing to not only plan but also glorify the act of dismissing and abusing your child because of their sexuality (or at all, for that matter), then you don’t deserve to be a parent.

These people don’t deserve kids …
